About Me
Hello, I'm Aaron! I'm a child of the 80s and 90s, and I've been drawing and designing for as long as I can remember. I received my formal education in Illustration. This has shaped my approach to usability design. I view a user's "job to be done" as a series of narrative challenges. I aim to understand their story, needs and friction points, relay that narrative to the product team, and then communicate that story back to the user through the design. My background in visual design and illustration aids my mission to create functional and clear experiences by finding a way to make it fun and delightful.
I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, producing music, reading history, watching movies, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've learned that ego is the enemy of improvement and I actively seek out feedback on how I can do better in all aspects of life, whether it's on the mats or on the screen. I strive to actively listen and communicate clearly and deliver above expectations.
